This city is a rich repository of the Island’s history and a place to understand how the Island’s traditional culture manages to cope with the demands of the fast-paced modern world. You shall also have the privilege to Cruise to Lembongan Island aboard BALI HAI II and relax on the golden sands in tranquil Lembongan Bay at the Bali Hai Cruise private Beach Club. We shall not only limit ourselves to the South Coast beaches of Kuta, Legian, and Seminyak, but also take a full day tour exploring exotic Bali’s North Coast. Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival

Day 2: Denpasar Walking Tour (6 hours); Afternoon at the Beach

Often overlooked by many Bali visitors, the busy capital city of Denpasar is a rich repository of the Island’s history and a place to understand how the Island’s traditional culture manages to cope with the demands of the fast-paced modern world. This unique half-day Capital City tour allows participants to get up-close and personal with the very friendly and accepting

locals while seeing important historical spots sampling the sights, sounds and flavours the Island’s modern urban dwellers. Highlights of this program include: (i) A brief drive through Bali’s administrative district of Nita Mandala and its impressive collection of neo-Bali architectural styles in local government offices, churches, and the impressive Baijra Sandhi Monument built to commemorate the heroic struggle of the Balinese against Colonialism. (ii) A walking visit through the busy and crowded Badung Market where our guide will explain the wonderful and strange assortment or merchandise, food and spices on sale. (iii) Still on foot, we’ll pass local temples and the Historical Bali Hotel, built in 1928 on the location of the famous Puputan – a fight to the death by the Balinese against the Dutch in 1906. (iv) A brief visit on Bali’s oldest coffee seller

– still run by its original owners to see how coffee is roasted and sample some world-famous “Kopi Bali.” (v) We’ll pay a call on a traditional Chinese Medicine Shop with its wondrous display of roots, herbs, potions and dried animal parts used by the in-residence healer to cure illnesses and enhance the vigour of his many patients. (vi) Pop into a local textile shop with its large display of traditional and imported textiles sold at reasonable prices. The perfect place to order you own custom-made Balinese sarong! (vii) The tour concludes with lunch at a famous eatery – Ibu Wardani’s. Popular with all levels of Balinese Society from local university students to visiting Ministers of State, Ibu Wardani’s is arguably the best place to enjoy the Island’s archetypical businessman’s lunch. After lunch, you will dropped back to your hotel, and the rest of the

afternoon is yours’ to relax at the beach.

Day 3: Lembongan Island Beach Club Cruise (8 hours)

Day 04: Full Beach Day; Late evening, Kuta Night Life Tour

Day 4 has been kept aside for you to enjoy and relax on the

three beaches of Kuta, Legian, and Seminyak all walking distance from each other. If you are adventurous, there are also a wide variety of watersports activities available on all the beaches. You can also go for a swim in the hotel’s swimming pool or program a spa treatment. However, in the evening, get ready for the Kuta Night Life Tour. The evening commences with sunset cocktails at Kuta’s fabled Hard Rock café on its outside balcony (weather permitting)overlooking the busy beach-side boulevard. Next, a walk to a well-known local eatery on one of Kuta’s narrow alleys. Day 05: Exotic Bali’s North Coast Tour (9 hours)

A full-day tour exploring the North Coast of Bali. En route a visit to the Royal Temple of Taman Ayun at Mengwi - built in 17th century. This impressive temple is bordered by a wide moat, creating the sensation of standing in the middle of a lake. The temple itself has three ascending courtyards, each representing an increasing level of perfection in the Bali Hindu cosmos. The tour proceeds to the Ulundanu Water Temple at Bedugul – one of Bali’s most beautiful temples; Git Git Waterfall – the tallest waterfall near Singaraja – the former capital of Bali; and Banjar – famous for its hot springs and Buddhist Monastery. On the way back, pass through an unforgettable view of picturesque rice terraces at Pupuan.

Day 06: Kuta Shopping Tour; Afternoon, Beach

Kuta is a shoppers’ paradise loaded with every thing frombrand name boutiques, large department stores to humble little shops selling inexpensive handicrafts. We’ll drop you off at the centrally located Kuta Square and stand by to collect your bags full of goods in our waiting van for return ride, after you’ve stocked up to your heart’s content on local shopping delights. Day 2: Ubud Herbal Nature Walk & Surroundings (7 hours)

We offer a number of interesting hikes of varying degrees of difficulty centered around the Ubud area. There is no better way to get a feel for Bali than to explore Ubud’s back paths, terraced rice fields and winding riverbanks on foot. We know and can show you the interesting spots north, east, west or south of Ubud and then have a vehicle waiting at the end of your track to bring you back to your accommodation. walking tour of Ubud includes walks through the rice - fields, a visit to a secluded temple, and lunch at a small restaurant and before re-emerging in the village of Ubud.

Day 3: Under the Volcano: Crater Lake Visit to Toya, Bungkah,
and Kehen (8 hours)

Visit the lava fields, created by the frequent eruptions of Mt. Batur, using the new road that circles around the volcano’s base and abruptly ending at the lava field’s edge. Toya Bungkah is a lake-side community and the site of hot springs. From Toya Bungkah, continue by boat to Trunyan, a well-known Bali Aga village where the people are considered among the island’s oldest inhabitants. The village of Trunyan has the

unique practice of leaving the physical remains of their dead exposed to the elements beneath a tree that seems to eliminate any odor from the decomposing bodies. On the road back to South Bali, stop at Kehen temple, to view its splendid closed Balinese gateway, leading to a shrine of 11 tapering meru roofs.

Day 4: Lembongan Island Reef Cruise (8 hours)

Cruise to Lembongan Island aboard BALI HAI II and moor alongside a reef pontoon that functions as the base of operation for all above and below the water line activities. Along the way, a stop at the Tanah Lot Sea Temple, one of Bali’s most photographed. Perched atop an enormous rock, the temple is Next, Batukaru Temple, passing the gorgeous Jatiluwih rice terraces en route to this mountain side temple. Lunch at a local restaurant (not included). Afterwards, visit Bratan Lake at

Bedugul – in Bali’s mountain lake district. Heading south again, a stop at Alas monkey forest, before the last visit of the day at Taman Ayun, the Royal Temple of Mengwi, built in 17th Century.

Day 06: Turtle Island Tour (6 hours)

Pick up from your hotel and drive to Tanjung Benoa area for riding a boat to Turtle Island. Using a glass bottom boat, you will see a colorful coral reef and tropical fish along the way. On the island, experience a close contact with these animals by feeding them with seaweed or hold the baby’s turtle. On the way back, stop at Puja Mandala, a unique place of worship on a hill overlooking Nusa Dua where places of worship for the Christian, Islamic, Hindu and Buddhist faiths stand side-by-side peacefully sharing a common complex. which is believed to date from the 16 century, and perched on a limestone precipice suspended some 250 feet over the roaring Indian Ocean. After returning to the hotel the afternoon is free, to either relax at the beach or go shopping.

In the morning, we head off to discover the city of Denpasar. Bali’s well-planned campus of government offices, built in a neo-Bali architectural style, sit next to the bustling and vibrant business district of the island’s main city. The Denpasar Museum sits on the edge of puputan square and houses a collection

dating from prehistoric times (closed on Mondays). Also included, a visit to the Art Centre with its fine collection of local handicrafts and paintings, a visit to a local batik home industry centre to see this intricate wax dying methods that produces world famous Indonesian fabrics. Also included is a visit to the morning market, still preferred by Balinese over the local supermarkets.

In the afternoon, you shall relieve your body and mind with a Massage (60-75 minutes). You can choose between a:

Sabah, Borneo is home to some of the best scuba diving, wildlife and rainforests in the World. The coral reefs around Sabah form part of the Coral Triangle and are recognised as some of the most important marine sites in the World - a scuba divers dream! During this 7 days adventure, you will spend the first day enjoying a relaxed scuba diving trip to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TARP). On the second day you shall go on a scuba diving trip to the ‘white rocks’ located near Mayne Rock, offering a unique underwater landscape. We shall then head off for a challenging adrenaline filled day of fun - white water rafting via the Padas Gorge, claimed to have the best rapids in South East Asia. Day 2: Tunku Abdul Rahman Diving Trip (2 Dives)

Enjoy a relaxed scuba diving trip to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TARP). Scuba diving around this park is an ideal dive trip for scuba divers looking for chilled out diving along pretty coral reefs. During your scuba diving trip to TARP, we will take you to some of the 25 dive sites we have identified around the five idyllic islands in TARP Marine Park - Pulau Gaya, Sapi, Mamutik, Manukan and Sulug. We also go diving in the deeper, beautiful coral reefs at Edgell Patches sitting just outside the Marine Park. The dives range in depths from 5m to 25m and tend to

have little or no current and good visibility. During your dives you will find good quality coral coverage and a surprisingly wide variety of marine life. Enjoy two (2) dives - one dive in the morning, one dive in the afternoon. Our catamaran departs at 9:30 am and returns from a days’ diving between 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm. You shall be provided lunch between the two dives. To get the most from your diving trip please bring with you swimming gear, dry clothes, sun tan lotion, sun hat and sun glasses.

Day 3: Mayne Rock Diving Trip

When you go scuba diving at Mayne Rock from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, you will find a series of large white boulders, rising from the sea bed at around 7m - 15m, surrounded by large shoals of

fish and adorned in hard and soft corals. Alongside this you'll have the chance to dive along a slightly shallower undulating coral reef. When diving at Mayne Rock you will get occasional strong currents - this makes it a dive trip suitable for experienced leisure divers. During a dive trip to Mayne Rock you can expect to spot a wide variety of marine life including shoals of Fusiliers, Barracuda, Yellow Snappers, Bat Fish, Juvenile Nurse Sharks, Lion Fish, Trumpet Fish, Nudi branches, large Puffer fish, Lobsters, Anemone Fish and much more. We normally see the largest shoals of fish at this dive destination. Expect to find marine treasures around every corner as you explore the large boulders and their crevices. Enjoy two (2) dives - one dive in the morning, one dive in the afternoon. Our catamaran departs at 9:30am and returns from a days’ diving between 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm. You shall be provided lunch

between the two dives. To get the most from your Borneo Dream diving trip please bring with you swimming gear, dry clothes, sun tan lotion, sun hat and sun glasses.

Day 4: Padas Gorge White Water Rafting

When white water rafting at Padas Gorge, Sabah, Borneo, you will experience waves that go as high as six feet and thrilling rapids up to grade IV. This adrenaline rush white water rafting trip covers a distance of 9km of the 200 km Padas River and holds 7 exciting and tough rapids! The rapids at Padas Gorge have amusing names - Merry-Go-Round Rapid, Break Point Rapid, Scooby Doo Rapid, Cobra Rapid, Curve Rapid, Lambada Rapid and Head Hunter Rapid - with the name you have a clue of what to expect. The 10km Padas Gorge white water rafting

journey takes about 2 fun filled hours. The day starts with a pick-up from your hotel at about 7.00 in the Kota Kinabalu area (earlier if you are staying north of KK) with a 3-4 hour journey down to Pangi - your start point for the trip. The Padas River is situated in the interior of south-western part of Kota Kinabalu that is only accessible by train (used since the late 19th century in Borneo). So you'll enjoy both a coach ride and a train ride to reach Padas Gorge, Sabah, Borneo. Upon arriving at the starting point for your Padas Gorge white water rafting experience, participants will be given safety briefing before going down the river. After completing the white water rafting experience you will enjoy a BBQ lunch. Departure back to your hotel will be about 15.30 pm and you will reach your hotel in

Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo by about 18.30 pm. Bring with you lace-up shoes or sandals (no flip flops), towel, swimming costume, dry clothes and waterproof sun-block to get the most from this tour. A good level of fitness is required to go white water rafting at Padas Gorge, near Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo. Only children over 12 years are allowed (please note that the white water rafting company has the right to refuse any person). Please note - min 2 persons per booking.

Day 05: Kinabatangan River & Gomantong Caves

Pick up from Sandakan Airport approx. 8am and drive overland (2 hrs) to reach Gomantong Cave to explore the largest limestone and bird nests cave in Sabah, where millions of swiftlets make the cave their home. Then, we will continue

overland to Bilit, Kinabatangan River. Upon arrival, a warm welcome by the staff followed by an afternoon tea with some local bites for lunch. After a short briefing by the nature guide, take an afternoon cruise (4.00pm) along the Kinabatangan River (Sabah’s longest river at 560km) where you can observe wildlife from the boat. After the cruise, transfer back to Sandakan Airport (arrival time at about 8.00pm).You are recommended to bring the following for this trip: Personal gear, insect repellent, raincoat, hat, binocular, torchlight and sunscreen. Use good walking shoes, socks and comfortable cotton T-shirt, long sleeve shirt and long or short pant. Don’t forget to bring your camera.

Day 6: Snorkeling & Island trip to TARP Marine Park

Snorkeling is a simple, easy and fun activity and has no age barriers, but we ask that anyone under 18 yrs old be accompanied by a Parent or guardian. We will take you on a snorkeling day trip visiting pretty shallow coral reefs, in protected snorkeling areas, around some of the idyllic Islands of TARP (Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park – Sapi, Mamutik and Manukan. The Islands near Kota Kinabalu have beautiful beaches with shallow waters and are surrounded by colourful coral reefs. Expect to see Nemo, a variety of coral reef fish and a Turtle if you are lucky! During your snorkeling day trip you can enjoy a mix of snorkeling, sun bathing, following island trails and just chilling out. We will aim to take you to two different islands (subject to weather and the day’s itinerary). Our spacious catamaran departs at 9:30am and you will return at

approx. 4:00 pm. Your snorkeling day trip includes boat transfers, lunch, refreshments, Marine Park Conservation fee, use of snorkeling equipment and personal buoyancy aid. The snorkeling day trip excludes a Snorkeling Guide - a Guide can be provided for a small extra fee.

Sabah, Borneo is home to some of the best scuba diving, wildlife and rainforests in the World. The coral reefs around Sabah form part of the Coral Triangle and are recognised as some of the most important marine sites in the World - a scuba divers dream! During this 7 days adventure, after taking some beginner’s classes on scuba diving and mastering the 6 key diving skills, we shall head off for a challenging adrenaline filled day of fun - white water rafting via the Padas Gorge, claimed to have the best rapids in South East Asia. We shall then fly to Sandakan, and discover the wildlife aside the Kinabatangan River and explore the Gomantong Caves. We shall end our excursion with a snorkelling and island trip to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Kota Kinabalu

Arrive in Kota Kinabalu. Check in to your hotel.

Day 2: PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience is a formal, structured introduction to scuba diving and is available to all those aged 10 years and over and takes one day to complete. It's a great way to spend a day learning to scuba dive, or enjoying a try dive, in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia. Your PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience includes the following:

A short scuba diving education session.

A confined scuba diving session which helps you to master the 6 key diving skills required to give you confidence and safety when diving. You will then enjoy a short dive in shallow waters to practice your buoyancy skills.

Once you have mastered these scuba diving skills we will take you for a second dive along a pretty coral reef in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park as part of your PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience. This dive will be to a maximum of 12 metres.

Day 3: Padas Gorge White Water Rafting

Day 04: Kinabatangan River & Wildlife Trip

Pick up from Sandakan Airport (MH2042 @ 0810 hrs). Transfer to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center. At this world renowned center, come face to face with human’s closest relative, the Orang Utans. Orang Utans share 97% of the same DNA as humans. The Orang Utans feeding time is at 1000 hrs. While Orang Utan rehabilitation is still the primary goal at Sepilok, present aims include public education on conservation, research and assistance to other endangered species such as captive breeding of the rare and endangered rhinoceros. Then proceed for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, transfer to

the Nature Lodge Kinabatangan which is located at the Lower Kinabatangan River Sanctuary. The journey will take approximately 2 hours, passing by Kota Kinabatangan town and also oil palm plantations. Catch a glimpse of the curious primates and swiflets of Gomantong Caves while on the last leg along Kampung Bilit road. Transfer from the Kampung Bilit jetty to Nature Lodge Kinabatangan, just 3 minutes by boat across the River. Welcome drinks will be served upon arrival. After which, guests will be given a verbal orientation of the Lodge and the surrounding area. Proceed to check into the chalets within Agamid Wing of Nature Lodge Kinabatangan. Afternoon boat cruise at 1600 hrs to search for wildlife and bird-life along the Kinabatangan river banks. Return to Lodge to freshen up and then enjoy dinner in the midst of the Kampung Bilit

secondary jungle. Right after dinner, go for a guided night walk to enjoy the wilderness and watch sleeping birds and nocturnal creatures of the jungle. Overnight at the Lodge.

Day 5: Kinabatangan River & Wildlife Trip Continued

Don’t be surprised to be woken up by the calls of gibbons and hornbills. At 0600 hrs, take an early morning river cruise to see more birds and wildlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast at

0745 hrs. Proceed to check out and at 0915 hrs we will transfer you to Gomantong Caves, the largest limestone hill and the most important source of edible bird nets in Sabah. Then continue your journey back to Sandakan and transfer to your hotel (MH2709 @ 1415 hrs).
